Blue Bloods - a review

Today we have a look at the police show, Blue Bloods.  It stars Tom Selleck's mustache as commissioner Frank Reagan, who is a die-hard supporter of the civil rights of those who wind up in the jail his mustache oversees.  He doggedly pursues justice for most of the show.  This can take up to forty minutes.

Tom Se!leck's mustache was featured prominently in the 80's classic, Magnum P.I.  My parents liked that show even though it didn't have James Garner or Angela Lansbury.

Blue Bloods focuses on the day-to-day goings-on at a jailhouse in New York city, but much of the important conversations take place in a diner, just like Seinfeld.  In a typical exchange with police chief Narcopolis, who has a titanic combover by the way, Tom Selleck's mustache explains that the latest prisoner suicide was just another accident.

"But how do we explain all the bruises on his face?" Narcopolis asks.
"Just tell them boys will be boys."
"But what do I say about the mop handle in his ass?"

Overall, this is a good show, with plenty of violence, like cops tasering people.  If it didn't have so much sodomy I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars, but it gets 4.
